We are pleased to announce that our company, Arete Risk & Insurance Solutions will be merging with Aviso Specialty (formerly known as Fitzpatrick & Co. Insurance Brokers), a well-respected name in the industry for 35 years. This merger will allow us to enhance our services, support and operations and provide even greater value to you.

What does this mean for our clients?

From the 15th July 2024, any new financial services will be provided under a different Australian Financial Services License No. 244386 through Aviso Specialty Pty Ltd ABN 25 050 242 914 and in accordance with the Aviso Specialty Pty Ltd – Financial Services Guide (FSG).

You will notice our existing logo will be replaced by our new Aviso Specialty logo on all new documentation from July 15th 2024.

Your existing Account Manager will not change.

No, however from the 15th July 2024, any new financial services will be provided under a different Australian Financial Services License No. 244386 through Aviso Specialty Pty Ltd ABN 25 050 242 914 and in accordance with the Aviso Specialty Pty Ltd – Financial Services Guide (FSG).

Your Arete team will remain at our offices in Canberra, Darwin, Melbourne CBD, Sydney, and Perth. Our Brisbane team will relocate to our new Brisbane CBD Office in August, and the current Aviso Specialty office in Glen Waverley Vic, will be our new Head Office.

Yes, our banking and EFT details will change effective 15th July 2024, payment details will be updated on all invoices after this date, alternatively please contact your current Account Broker for updated details.

If you have a complaint, you should tell us about it by contacting us directly.

We will endeavour to resolve your complaint within the first 1 – 5 business days, although if we have not been able to resolve this within 15 business days, we can escalate this to our Internal Dispute Resolution Team.

If unresolved, we will provide you with an update at least every 10 business days. A response will be provided to you within a maximum of 30 calendar days from your original complaint.

If, after 30 days the dispute is still not resolved in a manner acceptable to you, you have the right to contact our external resolution service: Aviso Specialty Pty Ltd and Arete Risk & Insurance Partners Pty Ltd are members of this independent dispute resolution service.
