Aviso Specialty, an advice-led insurance broker and risk adviser operating nationally, today confirmed a series of senior leadership and specialist appointments as part of its continued investment in long-term capability and growth.
The appointments reflect Aviso Specialty’s deliberate focus on building depth across industry specialisation and client strategy, in response to increasing demand for personalised advice, technical excellence and superior market outcomes.
Among the appointments are Patrick Moore, appointed General Manager, Growth & Client Strategy; Nick Turley, appointed State Executive, Western Australia; Steven Autrey, appointed Head of Care, Community and Mission; Stephen Kerridge, appointed Head of Mining & Resources; and Dean Currie, appointed Head of People Risk Solutions.
Together, these leaders bring extensive experience building and leading client-centric growth teams, having held department and business unit leadership roles at Lockton Pacific.
Mr. Moore brings extensive experience across growth and client strategy, having previously led national functions spanning sales, marketing, bid management, carrier engagement and client strategy. He is recognised as a trusted adviser supporting organisations in navigating complex and evolving insurance market conditions.
Mr. Turley joins Aviso Specialty as State Executive for Western Australia, bringing deep industry experience and long-standing market relationships. He is highly regarded for supporting a diverse range of clients and delivering growth through trusted, long-term partnerships.
Mr. Autrey brings deep technical capability and leadership experience across care, community and mission-aligned sectors, supporting organisations operating in highly regulated environments. His appointment strengthens Aviso Specialty’s specialist expertise across these sectors nationally.
Mr. Currie joins as Head of People Risk Solutions alongside Account Director Kerry Kostevski, bringing extensive knowledge and expertise in the employee benefits market to support clients. His appointment adds new and expanded capability to help employers protect the health, wealth and security of their people.
Mr. Kerridge joins as Head of Mining & Resources, leading the continued build-out of its market-leading national Mining & Resources capability. He brings significant leadership experience across mining principals and complex, capital-intensive industries, with prior senior roles at Aon and JLT.
Mr. Kerridge has worked closely for more than a decade with Dan Agostino, Account Director, and Peter Barron, who leads Aviso Specialty’s Services to Industry capability in Western Australia. Together, they form a senior leadership cohort with a unique combination of connectivity and proven expertise.
Mr. Agostino brings deep technical specialisation across the mining lifecycle, supporting clients from exploration and development through to construction and operational phases, ensuring continuity of advice as projects scale and transition.
Mr. Barron advises corporates across sectors including manufacturing and food and beverage, with a focus on complex contractual, operational and supply-chain risks.
